Born in the suburbs of Perth, Western Australia, Jane joined the Royal Australian Navy at twenty, travelling the world before working in top-secret roles within the Department of Defence.
She rediscovered her love of fiction writing during Melbourne's lockdowns, and now lives in the Netherlands with her wife, and their Australian-born cat.
Jane is fascinated by the quiet darkness found in nature, and within us all.
